They see your photos
I came across this page which lets you upload a picture (anything, but it's most scary with people) and it will be analyzed by the Google Vision API. It is an experiment show just how much information can be gotten from a single photo, analyzed with modern technology.

The way the peoples ethnicity and class are analyzed is particularly disturbing to me.
